Affected and at the same time inspired by the
article, in which the piano of the murdered Jewish butcher Simon Cohn*
plays a role, we set off 80 years later, at the beginning of April 2018,
in search of a piano from the 1920s/30s of the previous
century. We find what we are looking for. It gets a “new” yellow
coat of paint.
The yellow piano will be transported to schools,
retirement homes, marketplaces and other locations in the city area
and all (music-loving) people are invited to play the piano at
